Family Spotlight 1,2,3

We will be assisting Serina and her family financially this month. Serina is a 4-year-old girl who is battling High-Risk B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  ALL. Serina has faced many side effects and a few setbacks. Recently due to a broken arm and low counts, her chemo was put on hold.  Serina's family admitted it was nice to not have to endure the treatment for a bit but they are hopeful that it will resume this month so they can get her well. Serina has a two year old brother as well.

This week we will be collecting donations for a local one year old boy name Gio who was recently diagnosed with Mucopolysaccharidosis type ll a rare, inherited disorder. MPS II is also known as Hunter syndrome. Children with this condition have an abnormal accumulation of complex sugars in their cells, which affects many systems in their bodies.

Gio has already embarked on crucial treatment, with weekly infusions at CHOP, that he will have to on-go forever.

This week we will be accepting donations for Ava and her family. Ava was diagnosed in 2021 with Pilocytic Astrocytoma. She underwent two brain surgeries and 58 rounds of chemotherapy. Ava had one year of no new growth until September of 2023. Ava is currently back in treatment and suffering from vision loss. All donations this week will be matched and go directly to Ava’s family. Thank you 💛
